LG 32LE5300 Television ReviewSmall But Nicely Done

Its a little smaller than we ordinarily see, and its not quite as good as others for a lot of reasons, but todays review target, the LG 32LE5400, does have a lot to offer and will be one youll want to see.

The LG 32LE5400 is a thirty two inch 1080p LED television that offers up 120hz playback to reduce blurring at high speeds, Energy Star 4.0 compatibility, your choice of three AV modes to change settings according to what youre watching, the Picture Wizard and Intelligent Sensor to modify settings according to conditions, either automatically or manually, 24P Real Cinema to augment your movie watching, Clear Voice II for improved dialogue, Infinite Sound for improved bass, two ten watt speakers with Dolby Digital decoders, four HDMI ports, two component inputs, two composite inputs, one RF port, one PC input, one PC audio input, one USB port, and one headphone jack.

See what I mean? Its pretty nice. Theres room enough here for most of your gear, which is handy, and almost equal love for old and new hardware alike. The video is a little low quality for 1080p LED, but still pretty nice (size has a hand in the wow-factor of the video, really, so this should be in line with expectations), and the sound is decent enough for ten watt speakers. The Dolby Digital backup there is a big help.

And the price isnt exactly terriblethe folks out at Amazon are offering these up for five hundred bucks, which is pretty good for a moderately sized LED television. You can do better, of course, but youll have to take a necessary step down in video quality.

But stillthe LG 32LE5300 will be a great way to introduce LED into the home this season. Its not really big, really flashy or really expensive, but it will be a surprisingly solid addition to your home theater needs.

LG KP500 Touch Screen Phone review

LG announce the touch screen phone KP500 on the market today which very keen on this type of phone. The main purpose behind the LG KP500 is the price it is a bit cheaper than many other touch screen phones 229 (around 180).

It has impressive specifications with 3-inch 240 x 400 pixels like the LG Renoir, 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD expandable memory, a multimedia player and FM radio are the main ones.

LG 46LD550 LCD Television Review 2011

Today were splitting off of LED televisions to check out a representative out of the LG camp, the LG 46LD550. And youll likely be impressed by the kind of show this television will put on.

The LG 46LD550 is a forty six inch 1080p LCD television that offers internet connectivity for access to a whole lot of content options (this one actually includes Vudu, which is a little odd given that this is an LGI thought Vudu was more Walmart specific), TruMotion 120 Hz to cut down on blurring in high speed video, Intelligent Sensor to automatically adjust picture according to light levels in the room, Picture Wizard to adjust other settings, three different AV modes to reduce blurring according to the situation, two ten watt speakers with Dolby Digital decoders and Infinite Sound, four HDMI ports, two component inputs, two composite inputs, one RF input, two USB inputs, and a headphone jack.

Nice, nice, niceyouve got to love this system. Sure, its not as big as some sets youll find, but the picture youll get is hard to deny. The sound isnt so good as some eithertwo ten watts only go so farbut the extra augmentation is a pretty good help too. It plays about as well with your new gear as it does with the old and the addition of internet access is always welcome so you can get in on the streaming party early.

The folks out at Amazon will sell these for eight hundred fifty bucks, which is actually pretty good for a system like this.

So if youre looking for a decently priced addition to your home theater system, the LG 46LD550 should be one worth checking into further.

LG G-Slate to Come in Different Variations to Different Carriers

While T-Mobile USA has announced the G-Slate at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas a few weeks ago, its maker LG may have grander plans for the Android tablet that may have the G-Slate appearing on multiple carriers in multiple variations. In an interview with Pocket-lint, marketing and planning director James Choi was a bit elusive when it came to releasing additional information for launches outside America, but he did let it slip that future variations of the G-Slate are on the roadmap. Choi says, That information isnt available yet. The first announcement was for the Americas. We are planning another announcement pretty soon.

When asked if a non-4G model would be making it out of the gates, Choi says
For the iPad you have the Wi-Fi version, the 3G version, different kinds of versions. Ill put it to you this way, even if the 4G version isnt in the UK At that point in the interview with Pocket-lint, Choi was cut off by a PR rep who says that the company isnt ready to reveal additional information at this time.

If true, LG may be positioning the G-Slate as a rival to the Galaxy Tab from rival Korean electronics-maker Samsung, which has scored big deals to offer the Galaxy Tab on a number of carriers worldwide. In addition, the company will also be releasing a WiFi-only version of the Galaxy Tab and a 4G version for Verizon Wirelesss LTE network in the coming months.

In the U.S., the G-Slate will have to compete against the Galaxy Tab and the Dell Streak 7 on T-Mobiles network.

Given that Mobile World Congress is coming up in February, an international version of the LG G-Slate could potentially be announced there. Also, if different variants are coming to other U.S.carriers, an announcement at the wireless tradeshow, CTIA, could happen in March.
